In a world of pure code, people often talk about the power of advanced frameworks, massive system architectures, or dry, detached technical terms. However, at SupremeTech, we believe that behind every tech product that reaches a user, there exists a “language” that is equally vital: The connection between the people who create it.
Today, let’s continue our series with the Frontend team to hear the story of Hieu Khanh and Duy Quang. It is a journey of two strangers who first met with their own preconceptions and anxieties: a young, timid Intern and a Mentor known for his “stern interface” and iron discipline. Two years later, they are no longer in a “teacher-student” dynamic but have become trusted partners and colleagues, standing shoulder-to-shoulder through every challenging project.
First impressions: A “Serious interface” and Day-one anxiety
Hieu Khanh’s first day at SupremeTech was a mix of nervousness and fear. To the intern she was then, Duy Quang appeared as a quiet, disciplined, and somewhat… “intimidating” figure. The high standards he set from the very first training sessions regarding code implementation put significant pressure on Khanh.
However, few knew that behind that serious “interface,” Quang was experiencing his own internal waves of anxiety: “I was extremely worried about whether I could fulfill this role well. I even had to reassure myself and review my knowledge thoroughly because I was afraid… it would be embarrassing if I couldn’t answer an intern’s question,” Quang recalls.
Despite one side “fearing the mentor” and the other “fearing they wouldn’t perform well,” their serious commitment laid the first bricks for a lasting and solid relationship.

Mentorship: Shaping mindset beyond just coding
Khanh’s internship was not about “learning to swim” on her own; it was a well-structured roadmap designed by Quang and the FE team:
– A Clear Roadmap: From reviewing Web fundamentals to diving deep into React through a professional cycle: Learn – Do – Receive Feedback – Fix.
– Mindset Orientation: Instead of giving away answers, Quang chose to guide her through the problems. When Khanh faced complex assignments, he patiently led her step-by-step so she could find the solution herself. This method helped Khanh form a habit of independent thinking rather than reliance.
– Team Exercises & Mindset: Group assignments did more than just hone technical skills; they taught Khanh how to coordinate within a team. Additionally, Quang shared insights on time management, task prioritization, and those “soft” but essential skills required to thrive in a professional environment.
Memorable milestones: From first steps to the Internship Certificate
For Khanh, the entire internship period is a precious memory. It ranges from meticulous Code Review sessions—where mistakes were dissected so the whole team could learn—to the moment she received her Internship Completion Certificate.
For Quang, the most memorable part was witnessing the growth of his student. From a timid girl who didn’t dare to ask questions for fear of being a nuisance, Khanh gradually became more open, proactive in discussions, and confident in defending her solutions. Seeing their joint efforts rewarded by Khanh officially joining the SE team was the greatest prize for a Mentor.

Becoming colleagues: Continual learning from a Senior
When they officially became colleagues, their relationship turned to an exciting new chapter. Khanh realized that Quang wasn’t actually “stern” as he appeared, but was instead very humorous and approachable.
If they were once “teacher and student,” they are now partners sharing ideas and solving project problems together. Even though she is no longer in training, Khanh continues to learn from Quang’s ability to stay calm during incidents, his logical problem-solving, and how to communicate effectively to find optimal solutions in real-world situations.

Looking back: The most precious gift is a companion
Looking back on the journey of more than two years – from a bewildered intern to a solid Frontend Developer – Khanh’s story is a vivid testament to the culture of sharing and the strong bond among personnel at SupremeTech. It is a place where an individual’s growth is never detached from the support of the collective.
Our two main characters shared sincere words of advice for the youth:
– Hieu Khanh: “Skills and opportunities are both very important, but to me, the most precious thing is the companions. They didn’t just teach me how to solve a difficult problem; they inspired me to see my own career path more clearly. Never be afraid to ask questions, because as long as you are proactive, everyone around you is willing to be your support.”
– Duy Quang: “Don’t be afraid to ask! Take full advantage of your internship to learn. Here, no one expects you to know everything immediately, but we always appreciate and value a thirst for learning and a spirit of continuous improvement.”
The journey of Khanh and Duy Quang will surely continue with new milestones. Now, it is no longer the faltering steps of a guide and an apprentice, but the side-by-side stride of trusted partners. Together, they will conquer greater goals, writing new, proud chapters within the SupremeTech family.
