When SupremeTech is mentioned, people often think of Developer, QC, BA, Designer, or PM… positions that directly create the products. But there is a quieter team, who do not directly “produce,” yet are the reason why every process in the company runs smoothly every day. That is the SA (System Admin) team.

If SupremeTech is considered a “large machine,” then SAs are the ones who maintain, fine-tune, and ensure every component of the machine operates stably. Their work is wide-ranging, complex, and requires extremely high precision.

SA’s Daily Tasks – Seemingly Minor but Indispensable

Direct Support:

SA is the first point of contact whenever any technical issue arises:

  • Handover – Revoke: Providing guidance for new installations, issuing devices, and software; retrieving them upon separation.
  • Hardware Troubleshooting: Computers, monitors, adapters, test phones, printers, projectors, etc.
  • Software Troubleshooting: Operating systems, Office suite, specialized tools.
  • Network Issues: Internet, VPN, internal network.
  • Account & Access: Creating accounts, resetting passwords, granting permissions.
  • Security Issues: Detecting malware, security risks.

Office & Event Management

Seemingly “unrelated to IT,” but SAs are behind everything:

  • Supervising construction and office maintenance.
  • Event setup: training, workshops.
  • Managing the equipment borrowing/returning logbook.

System Operations – The Backbone of SupremeTech

  • Monitoring – Plan – Audit:
    • Daily/Monthly checklist for the system & facility.
    • Quarterly audit of mobile devices.
    • Controlling the network system & servers.
  • Maintenance:
    • Maintenance from the network to the main door:
      • Fortinet, Cisco 2960, Ruckus
      • Macbooks, mobile tests, monitors
      • Desks, air conditioners, water purifiers, electricity, fire protection…
  • Upgrade & Liquidate:
    • Planning annual device upgrades or liquidation to optimize costs and performance.
  • Training – R&D – Guideline:
    • SAs are also the silent “teachers”:
      • Guiding the use of systems, network, and security.
      • Researching new solutions.
      • Writing standard guidelines.
  • Purchasing – Product – Operation – Asset Management:
    • Behind every Macbook, monitor, Switch, or test device is the SA:
      • Executing purchases (PO).
      • Tracking assets: IT devices, facility devices, mobile tests.
      • Managing direct and indirect budgets related to the system.

SupremeTech’s Security Foundation – ISO 27001

SA is the unit that deploys & maintains the entire international standard security system.

  • Risk Assessment: Evaluating risks – vulnerabilities – threats.
  • Security Policy Development: Writing & updating ISO policies.
  • Internal Audit: Internal security auditing.
  • Training: Security knowledge training for the entire company.
  • Incident Management: Investigating & handling security incidents.
  • Implementation: Deploying ISO requirements into actual operation.

Maintaining Project Resources – Ensuring Projects Don’t “Stall”

From when a project starts until it ends, SA is always a companion:

  • Project Onboarding: Providing group mail, backlog, repository, DEV/STG domains.
  • Project Closing: Revoking resources.
  • Resource Allocation: Adjusting resources according to demand.
  • Consultation: Consulting on ISO & registry services for projects.

SA: Silent but Indispensable

At SupremeTech, SA may not be on the product stage, but they are the ones who keep the lights on. When the system runs smoothly, devices operate stably, access rights are given to the right people at the right time, when an incident is handled even before someone can complain… that’s SA doing their job right.

They are the quiet operations team that allows everyone to focus 100% on their specialized work. They are the protectors of information security, the maintainers of processes, and the creators of a work environment where every individual can focus on development.

So, when talking about SA, it can only be summarized in one sentence:

“They don’t create the product, but they help everyone create better, faster, and safer products.”
