Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead and develop engineering teams while ensuring effective, stable, and sustainable delivery aligned with business objectives. This role combines people management, engineering operations, resource planning, and delivery excellence to drive both team success and organizational growth.

As an Engineering Manager, you will work closely with Project Managers, PMO, and business stakeholders to optimize team performance, improve operational efficiency, and foster a high-performing engineering culture.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Lead and develop engineering teams through hiring, coaching, performance management, and career development.
• Oversee engineering operations to ensure efficient, stable, and high-quality project delivery.
• Plan and allocate resources effectively to meet business objectives and project priorities.
• Collaborate with PMO, Project Managers, and stakeholders to align goals, priorities, and delivery plans.
• Monitor team performance, productivity, and delivery quality, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Establish and optimize processes to enhance operational efficiency and organizational effectiveness.

Requirements

You must have:

• Advanced level in English written and spoken. TOEIC 700 or equivalent.
• University Degree. Technology, Computer Science, or a similar field is preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in software development, including 3+ years in a leadership or management role.
• Proven experience in team management, resource planning, and project delivery.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Excellent communication and strong leadership skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.
• Strategic thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving.

And nice to have:

• Experience in software outsourcing or product development environments.
• Experience managing teams of 10+ engineers.
• Knowledge of engineering metrics and organizational scaling practices.
• Experience driving organizational or process transformation initiatives.
